Join us for the 5th Annual Gala Scholarship Fundraiser!

The Laotian American Community of Fresno is excited to announce the 5th Annual Gala Scholarship Fundraiser, to be held on September 16, 2023 at Toca Madera Winery. This year’s theme is Dok Dao Huang, or Marigold Flower. Marigolds are a symbol of honor, blessings, and divine spirit in Lao culture. They are often used in traditional and religious ceremonies.

Your support will help to provide scholarships for Lao students who are pursuing higher education. Last year, we were able to award scholarships to 10 students, totaling $10,000. This year, we plan on continuing the program and positively impacting the lives of Lao students.

You don’t want to miss our biggest event of the year filled with fun, food, dancing, and entertainment. There will be live music, cultural performances, and more. We will also be awarding community leaders and businesses that have played a significant part in empowering our community.
