Introducing SEA Threads: A Free Cultural Closet Celebrating Southeast Asian Heritage

Laotian American Community of Fresno is excited to announce the launch of SEA Threads, a Free Cultural Closet! This initiative is dedicated to preserving and sharing the vibrant traditions of Southeast Asia, one outfit at a time.
Why SEA Threads?
Clothing is more than fabric; it’s a reflection of identity, history, and community. SEA Threads provides a space for Fresno residents to borrow or keep beautifully crafted Southeast Asian cultural clothing and accessories. Whether it’s for a special occasion, a cultural celebration, or simply to connect with your roots, these pieces are here to be worn and cherished.
How It Works:
- Browse & Request: Fill out our simple online interest form to let us know what you’re looking for.
- Receive Your Outfit: Pick up your item and wear it proudly!
- Keep It Forever: Yes, really! We only ask for a thank-you note or video to share how the piece impacted you.
