Support Cultural Pride: Donate to Our Southeast Asian Clothing Drive!

We’re excited to announce our Cultural Clothing Donation Drive, a heartfelt initiative to support the launch of SEA Threads, a new Cultural Closet program designed to empower Southeast Asian youth and families in our community. By donating gently used traditional clothing and accessories, you can help foster cultural pride, representation, and self-expression for those who may not otherwise have access to these meaningful garments.

How You Can Help

We’re accepting donations of new or gently used Southeast Asian cultural clothing and accessories. We’d like our closet to be stocked with different sizes and styles of traditional dresses, shirts, skirts (Lao sinhs), scarves (pa bieng), and jewelry. While we’ll continue to accept donations on an ongoing basis, we’d love to receive your contributions as soon as possible to ensure we’re fully stocked for the official launch of SEA Threads.

Donation Details:

📅 Preferred Drop-Off: July 8 – August 1
📍 Location: LACF Office (2004 N Fine Ave #103, Fresno, CA 93727)
Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Can’t make it during these dates? No problem! We’ll still accept donations after August 1, but early contributions will help us kickstart this program with a strong foundation.

Why Your Donation Matters

Many families and young people in our community lack access to traditional attire due to cost, availability, or other barriers. Your donated items will:
Preserve Cultural Heritage – Help keep traditions alive for future generations.
Promote Representation – Ensure everyone has the opportunity to celebrate their identity.
Build Community – Create a shared resource that fosters connection and pride.

Spread the Word!

Know someone with cultural clothing to spare? Share this drive with friends, family, and community groups. Every donation brings us closer to a vibrant, inclusive closet for Southeast Asian youth and families.

Let’s weave culture, pride, and generosity together—donate today!
