What an Amazing Workshop! Building a Stronger, More Connected Community

Last Tuesday at LACF, we hosted our Community Info Workshop, and what an incredible evening it was! We want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who joined us. Your presence and participation made the event truly special, and we’re so thankful for the opportunity to connect with our community and share valuable resources that can make a real difference in people’s lives.

The workshop was packed with essential information about the many resources available through the State of California. From youth behavioral health services to financial assistance programs, ITIN applications, and the California Community Resource Guide, we covered a wide range of topics designed to support families and community members in navigating life’s challenges. It was inspiring to see so many people engaged and eager to learn about the tools and services available to them.

None of this would have been possible without the incredible partnerships that helped bring this event to life. A huge thank you to The Fresno Center and the Office of Community Partnerships and Strategic Communications for their collaboration and support. Your dedication to our community is truly commendable, and we’re so grateful to have you as allies in this work.

We also want to give a special shoutout to Na Nah Thong Thai & Lao Street Food for their generous contribution to the evening. The $25 gift certificate they provided for our raffle was a delightful addition to the event, and we’re so appreciative of their support.

Moments like these remind us of the power of coming together as a community. By sharing knowledge, resources, and connections, we’re building a stronger, more informed, and more united community. Every conversation, every resource shared, and every connection made brings us one step closer to creating a brighter future for everyone.
